Poster City map of Istanbul, Türkiye: it sits where continents shake hands, argue a little, and then share tea.
This city has been called many names, but on this wall map, it simply reveals itself—layer by layer, hill by hill, and shore by shore. The Bosphorus slices through the land like a silver thread, not quite sea, not quite river, separating Europe from Asia while tying the whole city together. The terrain rises and dips like a memory being stirred—seven hills on the European side, each one telling a different tale, each one watching the water with a knowing eye. The map gently outlines the green havens tucked among the rooftops and domes. Gülhane Park whispers of sultans and shadows, once part of the Topkapı Palace gardens, now a place for strolls and small secrets. The great forested stretch of Belgrad Forest, on the city’s northern edge, balances Istanbul’s weight, like a deep breath held just out of sight. From the water’s edge to the hills beyond, the greenspaces on this map offer pauses between empires. And then, of course, there are the landmarks—those proud, persistent silhouettes. The Hagia Sophia stands where east met west and decided to share a ceiling. These maps are both accurate and decorative since they have been carefully checked by a mapmaker and adapted depending on the unique specificities of each city's geography.
The sustainability of our wall maps or our canvas is guaranteed thanks to a special UV Gel inking. Your poster or your canvas will follow you when you move to another place and will fit your furniture.

All our home-made maps strictly comply with open sources data philosophy and legal aspects. The data used to create these maps comes from OpenStreetMap and is under Creative Commons 4.0 licence (Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International - CC BY-NC-SA 4.0).
Paper maps are professionally printed by our partner on 180gsm Satin paper with an eco-friendly, UV gel ink quality which gives an embossed-like sharpness of the map.
Canvas are printed, framed and shipped by another polish partner - printing at 1440 dpi resolution resistant to UV radiation, high quality cotton canvas 285g / m2, no need to frame it!
The scale varies from 1:50000 to 1:100000 (on rare occasion 1:25000 or 1:150000) according to the selected city topography or rendering.
You can get a FULL-PAGE or a ROUND-SHAPE pattern as an option.
Mapospheres aims to promote cultural diversity! The name of the city will be set by default in English (ex: CONSTANCE/GERMANY). Please do not hesitate to mention in *YOUR CART* if you want it in another language (KONSTANZ/DEUTSCHLAND).

ASTROLABES - They are made with Softwood plywood from spruce. They are delivered with high-quality laminated stickers or printed with transfer onto wood finish in four different versions:
- Regular Astrolabe: your wooden astrolabe will be delivered ready-to-use along with your user's Manual
- Kit Astrolabe: prepare it yourself and learn while assembling your astrolabe
- Wood Transfer Astrolabe: vintage quality of printing using a wood transfer technique
- Personalized Wood Transfer Astrolabe: add your name on the back of your astrolabe.

- Postage and Packing -
Paper maps are carefully printed then packed with protective paper and rolled in a rigid cardboard postal tube for shipping from Poland.
Astrolabes and Canvas will be shipped in dedicated, protective cardboard postal parcels from Poland.
- Delivery Estimates -
Europe: between 5 to 10 working days after dispatch;
Rest of the world: 8 to 20 working days after dispatch.
International Shipping dates are purely estimates and cannot be guaranteed as they are dependent on local postal services and customs.
If your parcel does get lost or damaged in transit, we will send a replacement once confirmed by the delivery company. In any case, we will always manage to find a satisfying and reasonable solution !

FRAMES for CANVAS MAPS are INCLUDED. But FRAMES for PAPER MAPS are for illustration purposes only and are NOT INCLUDED.
Colors may slightly vary due to monitor settings but will not alter the overall finish.
How To Order:
1. Choose from drop-down menu the size you would like to get in centimeters/inches, the pattern and the design of your Map print/Astrolabe.
2. Type any replacement words you want below the map or on the back of your astrolabe into the personalisaton section.
